Little League International is changing the standards for bats. Essentially all bats that are legal now will not be legal in 2018. This was done in accordance with a change by USA Baseball. The SLL board wanted to make sure parents were alerted to this change in the event you are seeing bats on sale in stores or are considering spending on a bat for a holiday gift. Your child can use currently legal bats in 2016 and 2017 but not after that. The new bats will be available for purchase in fall 2017.
