Skills Assessment Schedule
Skills Assessment will be held on Saturday, February 25th at the Shorewood Intermediate School Gym. Kids should bring their gloves, wear gym shoes and comfortable clothes. Please enter the side doors near the tennis courts. Times below are subject to change.
Time/Current Grade/Level
8-9am -- 1st Grade -- Minors
9-10am -- 2nd Grade -- Minors
10-11am -- 3rd Grade -- AAA
11-12pm -- 4th Grade -- AAA
12:30-1:30pm -- 5th Grade -- Majors
1:30-2:30pm -- 6th Grade -- Majors
If your child is unable to attend at the designated time, please let us know if you can come at a different time. If necessary we will assess your child based on prior season performance and discussion with coaches.
At assessment we will be offering discounted tickets for Little League Night so bring your checkbooks! The game is set for Tuesday, June 20th vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates. SLL has purchased 2 blocks of tickets so our supply is limited and these tickets will go fast! National Little League Night is a huge fundraiser for our league, and includes a tailgate meal for everyone, as well as the opportunity for your child and their coach to parade with their team on the infield track before the game!
Other great reasons to attend Skills Assessment: 1) we will have a raffle for a Spector Pavilion brick, 2) your child can hold up uniform samples to make sure they have the correct size, 3) we will have Burghardt Sporting Goods Discount Cards, 4) we will be selling SLL spirit wear, and 5) your child will see all their SLL friends!
