The early birds are signed up, now it's time for YOU to register for the 2020 Shorewood Little League season! Register by Feb. 15 -- after that, there's a $25 late fee, and team placement is not guaranteed.
A couple quick notes on the registration process:
-There is a section asking you to verify your residency. That is optional, and you can ignore it.
-As in prior years, there is a $75 discount for those who volunteer to help during the season. This is generally through coaching or helping out at the Spector Field concession stand.
SPRING CLINICS
The Shorewood Recreation Department is once again offering spring baseball "camps" on Saturday mornings. These clinics, Feb. 29, March 7 and March 14, are run by Shorewood Little League coaches and take place at Shorewood High School. To register, go to https://shorewoodrecreation.org, click on the "Youth Sports" tab on the left, and then "baseball."

BEFORE YOU MAKE SUMMER PLANS
A heads up and reminder about post-season all-star tournaments: For AAA, Majors and Juniors, at the end of each season we form a team to participate in the Little League International tournaments. While nobody is guaranteed a spot, many parents who think their child may be selected for the team try to leave their schedule free so they can participate if chosen.
This year the District tournament for Majors is likely to start July 6 or 7. AAA and Juniors should be in the same time frame. The District tournament can be as short as three games or up to almost two weeks, depending on how we do.
All-star practices typically run through the second half of June, leading up to the tournament itself, and during that time players are encouraged to attend as many practices as possible.
YOU HAVE A FRIEND REQUEST
We also have a closed Facebook group, you can find it by searching "Shorewood Little League Families." This page is an opportunity to share photos and ask questions of fellow SLL families.
