Welcome to AAA!

... where the kids start pitching.  That's right, no more pitching machines!
The teams in AAA are completely redrafted each season, just like in the Minors.  Players in AAA must be in 3rd or 4th grade.
If you have a 3rd grader who will not turn 9 until May 1 or later, SLL is giving you the option of having them play up with their grade OR stay with their age-group in Minors for another season.  For any 3rd graders, technically league-age 8, who play up with their classmates - you will not be eligible for the 9/10 tournament team, and will remain with your class in this division for two years.  Once you are in 5th grade, you can choose to stay in AAA with your age group or again move up with your class for the two year commitment.
Teams in the AAA division play each other, and sometimes Whitefish Bay and Lake Park.  Games are mostly played at our beautiful Spector Field, located at the corner of Edgewood and Oakland Avenue, but some are also played at Lake Park or at the Whitefish Bay baseball diamonds off Port Road.
On-line Registration is held  December 15 through February 15.

Skills Assessment and Player Verification is in late February, with Team placement announced by the end of March.

Practices begin in early April. Games begin the first part of May, with the regular season ending around the first week of July.

Pending player performance, and the balloting process, some players may be selected to represent Shorewood on the 9/10 Tournament Team. Tournament games begin in July, and end at the State level.
Remember, if a player elects to play up with their class as a 3rd grader, they are still technically league-age 8 and will not be eligibile for the balloting process for the 9/10 (AAA) Tournament Team.  This league age parameter comes from the Little League International Rule Book.
