Welcome to the Minors!
... the beginning years of Little League.
Through Little League, we give the tools for our volunteer coaches to help teach your child the basic skills to play and understand baseball. Coaches use a pitching machine rather than having to throwing the pitches over the plate which helps simulate a regular pitched ball.
Practices begin in early May and are held twice a week until the season begins. Once the season begins, games are scheduled about 2 times week beginning in mid-June through the end of July/early August and practices drop down to once a week. Games are about 90 minutes in duration, and have players from our Junior league umpiring.
Who can play in the Minors Division? Any boy or girl who is currently in 1st or 2nd grade. If your son or daughter does not turn 7 until May 1 or later, but is in first grade, they can still play in the Minors. If your son or daughter has already played t-ball or coach-pitch baseball through the Rec Dept and is currently in K5 (as a 6 year old), they may play in the Minors Division.
